Levenshulme Good Neighbours at the Social Justice Fair

Big thanks to all the students who stopped by our stand at the Social Justice Fair at Manchester University yesterday! We had an amazing turnout, and it was great to speak to so many people interested in becoming befrienders.

The room was absolutely packed, and highlighted how many amazing groups there are in Manchester dedicated to improving the community as a whole.

Thanks also to Samsun who helped us set up the stand and wrestle with our new roller banners!

LGN visits the People’s History Museum

This month we enjoyed our final two performances with the PHM: ‘Shine A Light’ about life in factory for women during the Victorian era, and ‘Peterloo,’ a play about the 1819 tragedy which we watched at the Museum itself.
