We’re always humbled by the support we receive from the local community in Levenshulme, and this summer has been no exception. This July the Klondyke hosted another successful Summer of Lev weekend; a two day arts festival which raised money for Levenshulme Good Neighbours and The Circus House.
The weather was glorious (mostly!) and the entertainment was fantastic, with performances from Levy Chorus, Coco Love and the Lovettes, Levy Metal and the Circus House to name a few!
The atmosphere was great, and it was lovely to see so many families turn up for the event. Levenshulme has fantastic community spirit and we feel very lucky to call it home.
Many thanks to our volunteers who helped out on the day, Jamie Whittaker for all his hard work organising the event, and everyone else involved. The money raised from the weekend came to the whopping £1575; a donation which will make a massive difference to our charity.
