Over the coming months we aim to use 10GM funding to help enable more of our older and house bound referrals to walk about more with their befriender companions’
We plan on doing this by facilitating a walking project as part of our befriending offer to new referrals that link the benefits of walking outdoors to our service users who may be suffering from diabetes, mood instability including depression, have COPD, or angina, receive NHS care but do not have any walking guide.
