This summer our Gardening Project has been in full swing, helping older people regain access to their green spaces. We’d like to say a special thank you to volunteer Felix, a senior citizen himself, who has been hard at work mowing lawns for service users and offering support as a handyman. Here’s a pic of him battling though some
chest-high grass with his usual can-do attitude! Felix is also a fabulous befriender to some of our Irish service users too, and has come as a force of good change to help fellow Irish citizens feel more at home in Levenshulme.
