Our ever popular monthly LGN over 55s Bookclub at Arcadia Library continues with a couple of fascinating books coming up soon!
Vaseem Khan’s ‘The Dying Day’ is first up in August, and has been getting some great reviews, averaging 4.5/5 on Amazon and 4.24/5 on Goodreads. But will our Book Clubbers rate it just as highly? Why not come along and find out, as well as offer your own thoughts? The following month, Iain Banks’ ‘The Crow Road’ is up for discussion, which, according to Wikipedia, ‘combines menace and dark humour…with an interesting treatment of love’. Sounds intriguing!
