“The Volunteer Drivers’ Network is an initiative led by Manchester Community Central to connect organisations across Manchester with individuals who are able to drive and can support with community tasks. Community tasks could involve delivering food packages, transporting a service user or picking up donations, as well as many other tasks which would involve an individual needing to drive.
The purpose of the network is to allow for volunteers to pick up various tasks and support multiple organisations, as well as giving an opportunity for individuals who are looking for one-off volunteering, including businesses and employees, to engage with the local voluntary sector.”
